Operations Assistant

Crawford Broadcasting currently has an opening for an Operations Assistant.  In this full time position you will be working in many different and exciting areas of Christian radio.  Applicants should be open to working on some weekends, have strong computer skills, and be great at meeting deadlines.  This position is great opportunity for a well rounded, hard working, dedicated individual that has an interest in Christian radio and finding a solid career.  

Other aspects of this position include:

– Assist events department on promotions and set up for remotes.
– Work on site at all station events
– Scheduling and station calendar management for event availability
– Write and produce for short term and national accounts and agency accounts that provide spots ready for air
– Prepare avails and handle national sales buys
– Assistant to WDJC Station Manager and sales assistance as requested

Engineering Assistant

Crawford Broadcasting currently has an opening for an Engineering Assistant.  The position will require hands-on-knowledge appropriate to the installation, repair and maintenance of systems used by our Broadcasting Stations including:

– RF Transmission facilities

– Computer Knowledge Running Windows, MacOS and Linux

– Studio Maintenance both digital and analog

– Knowledge of Repairs on Equipment (From Microphones to Control Surfaces)

Certification by the Society of Broadcast Engineers is preferred.  A working knowledge of audio over IP is a strong plus.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
